- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Went to the emergency room there because the hospital is in network with my PPO plan. I found out after the fact that some of their emergency room doctors INTENTIONALLY do not join PPO networks, because they know the patient doesn't have a choice so they can bill them full price rather than the in-network discounted price. My question is if they want to be in the business of ripping people off, why did they bother with med school? UPDATE: July 2017. They overcharged me by over $2,000 after checking my benefits with my insurance company. They never initiated a refund until I found out.
